Important information regarding covid-19
Updated March 22,2022

Dear our valued client

Thank you all for your patience and support during this difficult time!

As of March 21, masking mandates have been changed, except for public transit, health care settings, long-term care homes and congregate care settings.

The College of Massage Therapists (CMTO) and The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. (CTCMPAO)  considers all RMT, R.a.c  and RTCMP practice settings to be health care settings for the purposes of the masking mandate. RMTs, R.ac, RTCMP and their clients will be expected to wear a mask until April 27, 2022.

After that masks will no longer be required, however, clients can ask their RMT, R.ac, RTCMP or Estheticians to wear a mask if they prefer, and practitioners may need to ask clients to wear a mask depending on their condition.

Also, health care professionals will continue to screen clients just before treatments. If the client does not pass screening, they cannot provide treatment.

The screening questions would be:

Q1: Do you have any of the following symptoms?

• Fever and/or chills

• New onset of cough or worsening chronic cough

• Shortness of breath

• Decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell

• If adult >18 years of age: unexplained fatigue/ / / lethargy malaise muscle aches (myalgias)

• If child <18 years of age: nausea/vomiting, diarrhea

Q2: Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days or have you been told you should be isolating?

*Next questions can be waived if you are fully vaccinated

Q3: Did you travel outside of Canada in the past 14 days?

Q4: Have you had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 without wearing appropriate PPE?

If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us!

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best Regards,
