Did you know you can make craft cola at home this summer?
We have it covered with a kit YOU CAN MAKE COLA SYRUP AT HOME WITH ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS!!
All you need is a knife, a chopping board, a pot, a stovetop, and the following ingredients:
INGREDIENTS: (makes about 500 ml of cola syrup)
Water - 500 ml
Your preferred Sugar – 300g
Orange - 1 Lemons - 1, unwaxed (you use half at the beginning and squeeze the other half at the end)
Bizen craft cola kit
(Cardamom, Clove, Chinese Red Dates, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Ginger, All-Spice, Chinese 5-spice powder, Taiwanese kokuto sugar, Red Chili peper.)
How to make:
First, take the cardamom and vanilla bean from the kit. Crush the cardamom with a knife and take the seeds out of the vanilla beans. (Don’t discard the skin, you are going to put it in the pot as well!!)
2. Cut the whole orange and the half of the lemon into slices for your pot.
3. Place all the ingredients, except the lemon juice, into a pot and put on high heat until it boils. Turn down to medium heat and simmer for about ten minutes.
4. Turn the heat off, squeeze the other half of the lemon and let it sit overnight.
5. After a night of steeping, The final step is straining the syrup. Voila, your craft cola syrup is complete! (Keep it in the fridge. you can enjoy it for 1 to 2 weeks)
You can mix with syrup with carbonated water, club soda, hot tea or your preferred milk (makes an ice chai), or you can mix with hard liquor to make your own summer cocktails! Syrup 1:3 Soda is recommended!
